The Downtown Manchester Board of Commissioners is the governing body of the District. The Commissioners are downtown property owners and business lessees who volunteer their time to oversee the operations of the District.
Commissioners are elected for a two-year term during our Biennial Elections which are held every other May. Any property owner or business lessee is eligible to serve as a Commissioner.
The Board is comprised of 5 Property Owners, 2 Business Lessees, 1 Alternate Commissioner, and 3 Ex-Officio Members: The Town of Manchester's Director of Planning & Development, a representative from the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, and a representative of the downtown faith communities.
