World History I Gets Creative

Submitted by Alex Clark, HS History Teacher

World History 1 students were studying the Middle Ages and learned about the significance of chivalry. One of the most significant ways a knight in the Middle Ages told his history and lineage was through a shield. The students were challenged to create their own shield and describe what the specific colors, patters, and depictions represented according to the time period. I would say they did a great job!
