Cruisin on Main - Sunday, 8/6 - Traffic Notes

Cruisin' on Main is coming downtown on Sunday, 8/6!

This year promises to be another great event, bringing thousands of guests downtown for a few hours.

Please note that as of 6:30 am, downtown Main Street will be closed to all traffic.  You, your staff, and your customers may access our downtown businesses via Spruce Street which provides access to downtown parking lots via Bissel, Birch, Oak, and Maple Streets. 

Please note that Cruisin' on Main has permitted use of all of downtown Main Street from Center St. to Hartford Road - including sidewalks.  Businesses should not attempt to utilize public property (such as sidewalks) except for the already permitted and established outdoor dining areas.

Finally, restaurants that intend to deviate from already permitted serving and dining procedures should contact the Town of Manchester Health Department. 

All businesses are encouraged to prepare your storefront for the thousands of eyes that will be visiting downtown! If you won't be open for the day, you can still promote your businesses with a clean and attractive storefront that highlights your products or services!
