What is a 2nd Saturday?
Simple - it is the 2nd Saturday of each month.
What Happens on 2nd Saturday?
That's up to you! All year long WORK_SPACE is open every 2nd Saturday from 10-4 and often hosts special events. During the summer months, The Firestone | Art Studio & Cafe hosts The Market at 1115 Main, a large outdoor market. Both of these ongoing traditions have created community awareness and a habit of visiting Downtown Manchester on the 2nd Saturday of the month.
How Can I Benefit?
That's up to you! When Downtown Manchester, or a specific business, gains popularity and attention we all benefit. Together, we create a destination for those who are shopping, dining, and even seeking personal and professional services.
What Can My Business Do?
Again, that's up to you! You can do as much or as little as you would like - every month or several times a year. In the past, we have seen businesses:
* Host Pop-Ups with Friends
* Host Activities & Non-Profit Projects
* Hold Sales & Special Menus

What is the District's Role?
We are here to amplify your message - to share and promote what you are doing! We will not be organizing district-hosted events throughout the summer. Instead, we are focusing our efforts on supporting YOUR efforts!
We will share your news in our e-newsletter: WHAT'S UP DOWNTOWN, and on our social media and website.
Each month we will create an article (online) and an Instagram highlight to track what is happening on the 2nd Saturday of the month. We will encourage all of our businesses to cross-promote and support each other as well.
