DMSSD Biennial Election Information
Ballots for the Downtown Manchester Special Services District (DMSSD) Biennial Election were mailed to constituents last week.
As a property owner or business lessee within the DMSSD boundaries, you are eligible and encouraged to participate in this important election. The DMSSD Board of Commissioners plays a vital role in supporting and guiding the future of Downtown Manchester.
Commissioners are fellow downtown business owners and property owners who volunteer their time to represent the needs and interests of the district and broader downtown community.
About the Board of Commissioners
The DMSSD Board is responsible for overseeing the operations and initiatives of the district. The Board consists of:
- 5 Property Owners
- 2 Business Lessees
- 1 Alternate
- 3 Ex-Officio Members representing:
- Town of Manchester Planning & Economic Development
- Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce
- Downtown Places of Worship
Commissioners elected during this cycle will serve from June 2026 through May 2028.

Returning Your Ballot
If you are unable to attend the election meeting in person, completed ballots may be returned by hand delivery, mail, or email.
