Ken O'Hara is the founder of KOA Insurance (Ken O'Hara Agency), a rapidly growing independent insurance agency located right here in Downtown Manchester. Before opening his own agency, Ken spent two decades working at Insurance giants in Hartford— bringing that same corporate rigor and analytical discipline to every client he serves.
Ken founded KOA Insurance in 2022 with a straightforward philosophy: insurance is a legal contract, not a commodity. As both a Farmers Insurance exclusive agent and independent broker, he works with over 20 top-rated carriers to cover auto, home, life, business, and specialty needs across Connecticut.
A proud Manchester resident, Ken is deeply invested in the community beyond business — serving as Secretary of the School Board for St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Vice Chair of the Little Theater of Manchester, and a member of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce. He is grateful for the opportunity to serve on the Board of Commissioners and help Downtown Manchester continue to grow.
