Where can I park?

Did you know that there are over 800 public parking spots downtown?

There are many opportunities to park for as little - or as long- as you want downtown!

There are many FREE parking options, including timed parking as well as all day parking.

Now you can park longer and avoid receiving a ticket with our increased FREE options or our Pay-to-Stay option!

Main Street Parking

On-Street Parking is available on Main Street as well as several side streets.

Parking on Main Street is FREE, with a 2 Hour Limit in effect from 8am to 5pm. So, if you are headed in to shop, or pick up your food - On-Street Parking provides a convenient option.

Parking Lots

Downtown Manchester manages 7 public parking lots. Parking in all lots is FREE for the first 3 hours, and FREE ALL DAY PARKING is availble in 3 LOTS. CLICK HERE to view a map of downtown parking lots.

All Day FREE Parking
The Cyan Lot (on Park St), Red Lot (on Cottage St.) and Yellow Lot (between Oak & Maple) offer FREE ALL DAY parking!

3 HOURS FREE in Select Lots
The Brown Lot (on Pearl Street), Blue Lot (on Birch/Bissell St), Green Lot (on Main St.) and the Orange Lot ( Purnell Lot) offer 3 HOURS of FREE Parking. Tickets will be issued for cars exceeding the time limit.

Pay-to-Stay Option
Want to stay longer than 3 hours? No problem - we would love to have you linger! You can choose to park in one of our 3 FREE lots (see above). Or, you can opt to pay $2 to stay all day in any of our other lots. Simply download the mobile app and you are ready to pay-to-stay. In fact, we strongly encourage you to get in the habit of starting a FREE parking session each time you park in a lot. You will receive a notice before your 3 hours expire (and tickets may be issued) so that you will have the option to pay-to-stay longer.
