A Taste of Authentic Caribbean Excellence at Long Gut Miss Pinny!!! Long Gut Miss Pinny has officially become my family’s new favorite spot after today’s visit, and for good reason. This place serves up some of the most authentic Caribbean cuisine I’ve experienced. The oxtails here are simply the best I’ve had at any restaurant in the USA—and I’m including NYC and North Jersey in that statement. They were fall-off-the-bone tender, richly flavored, and cooked to absolute perfection. You can taste the care and traditional preparation in every bite. The drinks were equally impressive. The soursop juice was authentically made—not the watered-down version you often find elsewhere—and the rum punch had that perfect balance of sweetness and kick that transports you straight to the islands. We also tried the curry goat, which was excellent with well-seasoned, tender meat and aromatic spices, and the Rasta pasta, which was a delicious fusion dish that didn’t disappoint. We were so full from everything that we didn’t even get to try the fried chicken, but that just gives us a reason to come back soon! If you’re looking for genuine Caribbean flavors and generous portions that’ll fill you up, Long Gut Miss Pinny is the place. Highly recommended!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
