A Lifelong Passion

Rachel has been sewing since she was in 7th grade and took home economics at Illing Middle School, right here in Manchester! Fashion and sewing are her passions but more importantly, she has a passion for serving her customers.

She has such a way with the customers; they all love her. Rachel's manner and listening ear put the customers at ease -- from brides to high schoolers attending prom. Each alteration and project is truly customized. Creative Notions will work hard to make your vision come to life.

A Community Connection

Rachel and Bethany have strong ties to Manchester. Rachel grew up in Manchester, graduating from Manchester High School in 2005. Both mother and daughter still live in Manchester and enjoy being a part of the community.

A Great Downtown Neighbor

Creative Notions is here to be a great neighbor to its downtown businesses!

About 4 years ago, Rachel was between jobs and realized she wanted to get back to what she loved- fashion and sewing. She saw an open space on Main St and convinced her mom to help her with her business plan.

She knew Ryan who had just opened Urban Lodge and Brandon who was opening RetroJunk and loved the idea of joining her friends to help revitalize the downtown area.

Putting Covid aside, Rachel and Bethany share that it has been wonderful seeing the downtown area grow and become a destination for many Manchester families. They love being able to send customers who come from all over the state to fellow businesses.

They particularly love when customers comment on the quaint and lovely atmosphere of Downtown Manchester -because it is their favorite part as well!
