Scarecrows Are Coming! Plan Ahead!

As summer begins, it is time to start planning for the fall! By planning ahead, you have plenty of time to recruit an artist - or team of artists - to create your Scarecrow for our 2023 Downtown Scarecrow Festival!

We can't wait to see Main Street lined with scarecrows this October!  

This year's theme is DREAM FOR THE FUTURE! We invite our artists to create a vision for the future - especially the future of Manchester!

Everyone is welcome to create a Scarecrow - Individuals, Families, Friend Groups, Clubs, Schools, Businesses, Non-Profits - everyone!  

We will issue prizes for Fan Favorites, Facebook Favorites, and Best in Theme! Prizes will be announced by August.

Dates:

• 9/22: FINAL day to register & submit your scarecrow name for the signs/maps.
• 10/11-10/14 Installation Dates
• 10/29-11/1 Removal Dates
